دو پژوهش درباره معنای زندگی و آرزوها از دیدگاه سالمندان

چکیده
 
هدف: پژوهش حاضر در دو مطالعه‌ی مکمل با هدف بررسی معنای زندگی و آرزوها در میان سالمندان انجام شد.

روش: مطالعه نخست با رویکرد کیفی و روش پدیدارشناسی، و مطالعه دوم با رویکرد کمی و روش توصیفی–پیمایشی انجام گرفت. شرکت‌کنندگان، سالمندان شهر رشت در سال ۲۰۲۴ بودند. در بخش کیفی، ۱۰ نفر به‌صورت هدفمند و بر اساس اشباع نظری انتخاب و از طریق مصاحبه نیمه‌ساختاریافته بررسی شدند. در بخش کمی، ۱۰۰ نفر به روش در دسترس انتخاب و به پرسشنامه‌های معنای زندگی (MLQ) و شاخص آرزوها (AI) پاسخ دادند. تحلیل داده‌های کیفی با روش کولایزی انجام شد.

یافته‌ها: سه مضمون اصلی «امنیت»، «تعالی نفس» و «عشق و محبت» به‌دست آمد. «امنیت» شامل سلامت جسمانی، تفریح و شادابی، آرامش و استقلال مالی بود. «تعالی نفس» شامل رضایت و رشد شخصی و «عشق و محبت» شامل تعامل سازنده با دیگران و آرزوی شادی برای آنان بود. نتایج کمی نیز یافته‌های کیفی را تأیید کرد و نشان داد سالمندان گرایش بیشتری به آرزوهای درونی همچون حفظ سلامت، معنویت و همکاری اجتماعی دارند. تفاوت معناداری میان زنان و مردان در معنای زندگی و آرزوها مشاهده نشد (P > 0.05).

نتیجه‌گیری: با افزایش سن، احساس رضایت درونی، معنویت و تمایل به خوشبختی دیگران جایگاه پررنگ‌تری در معنای زندگی و آرزوهای سالمندان پیدا می‌کند.
